I've used probably at least 4-5 of these in my security camera system so far and it worked well. I used these on a different brand security camera system and I didn't have issues. Although I feel it's important to note that some security camera companies use their own ethernet cabling where they switch the wires around so even though it looks the same, you can't use a normal ethernet cable with their products. Just something to note when you're buying security products.
