I've used Foscam Cameras for many years now. By now I've had 8 in use for more than 7 years. While some I've purchased refurbished weren't without flaws, every camera has worked, and none have failed. Finally decided to upgrade with V8P cameras. These are nice. Wide field of view, 4k resolution and clearer night vision than my older foscam cameras. No problems setting them up and connecting. I very much like that I can use these with my own network to save via FTP to a NAS unit, Which is why I buy Foscam, as they are one of the few that support saving to FTP. So long as they continue to make reliable cameras that don't require a that I pay a subscription fee, they will be my first choice for security cameras..
