First of all I have to say, as soon as I opened this monopod I fell in love with it. That being said I will start my review.I recently got into shooting short clips and taking pictures of my everyday life and wanted a monopod/tripod for my ‘phone’. I previously purchased 3 other tripods that extended 50 plus inches or more and this one out did them all in lightweight, sturdiness, and overall ease of usage.The monopod comes in a carry/storage bag and that is basically it. Simple and straight to the point. You really don’t need any instructions for this type of monopods. It’s as simple as unlatching one of the clips/tabs towards the bottom and you extend that portion. It also came with a dslr thread/adaptor if you want to mount your dslr on this. You can unscrew that off and uncover a 1/4 thread for your smaller devices such as a phone holder/GoPro, and other clips using the 1/4 thread. The monopod fully closed is approximately 20 in a half inches long. When you extend just the lowest leg, the monopod extents to about 30 in a half inches. Extend the middle portion and it goes to 51 inches and then obviously extending the top portion get you your full 67 inches.I love everything about this monopod. From it’s slim design to how light it is. It’s probably lighter than your water bottle. I especially love how the clips/tabs line up at the bottoms when you fully close the monopod. It lines up perfectly in the hand to have a perfect grip. There’s some foam up towards the top of the monopod so you can comfortably hold and grip it as you shoot.Now when it comes to tripod some people either love them or hate them. I would much rather have a monopod rather than a tripod. Having a tripod you have to extend the legs and get it all set up and ready to go. Having just one leg on the monopod is way faster and more efficient for me. It’s just less bulk to carry and you will see just how much bulkier a regular tripod is compared to the Vidpro monopod. I will attach a few images comparing the Vidpro monopod and a tripod that I also got from Amazon.Overall I am super stoked and exited about this monopod. It’s a steal for $14 and I’m pretty sure you will love it also. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking to get a monopod/tripod that is very sturdy and of high quality.
