The barrel plug & socket has too much resistance and wastes some power.It was fixed by cutting off the connector and soldering the USB-C lead directly to the splitter's PCB.Works OK with Raspberry Pi 5 but remember you have one Amp less capacity than the recommended PSU so be cautious with power hungry USB peripherals.
