Originally bought this set for a single specific purpose - mounting a small softbox light on a tripod - the small silver tube adapters are perfect for this.Since then I've found more and more situations where this little bag of tricks solves problems I didn't realize I had!Need a couple of inches of clearance on a tripod? add a couple of the silver tubes joined by a 1/4/ inch male to 3/8 inch male screwNeed to join multiple Neewer or Smallrig Magic arms together for more flexibility... no problem, silver tube and a 1/4inch to 1/8 inch adapter.I've used them in combination with crab clamp and magic arms to mount an iPad for a monitor, to mount a LED lighting panel on a arca quick release plate and to mount an iPhone to my desk.I use these so much now that I'm about to order a second set!
