Since it appears that this backup camera has been discontinued, I'm not sure that a review really makes any difference. But here goes - Good and Bad.The good: The camera operates well, and the display picture is bright and clear. Also, all hardware to install it was included with good instructions. And no more difficult to install than any other wireless backup camera.Bad #1: I needed to mount the display on my windshield, and there was a good, solid suction cup with magnet supplied. The problem was that after a day, the display separated from the metal piece on the back of the display and it fell down just by sitting there. The magnet is strong, but the glue for the metal piece was weak.Bad #2: There was an email address included in the instructions - "vanity at outlook.com" with a note that read: "We have very considerate after-sales service, include 60 day replacement, 30 day money back guarantee, and 12-month warranty. Please contact us if you encounter any problem with our camera, we will try your best to help you solve it." I wrote to them about "Bad #2" and received no reply. Also checked my spam folder and there was no reply.Bad #3: One reviewer mentioned that there were LED lights for backup that came on when backup was operated. Indeed, there are 4 small spots on each side of the camera that look like they're LEDs, but they clearly don't come on. So I don't know if they should have been included or not.I should note that there were two methods of mounting the display - one on the windshield that I chose, and one where there is a tray that mounts on the dash and the display sits in it. I couldn't use the tray as my dash is rounded.The way that I solved "Bad #1" was to clean the display and piece of steel with acetone to get all glue off and then use Gorilla Glue contact cement to put the metal back on the display. This roughed up the back of the display, but after a week or so, it's still holding. I don't know what I'll do if it comes off again.Product installed. Good picture, seems to work well. Time will tell. A few quirks- #1: Guidelines are displayed constantly, even when back up camera is not on (hot wire to reverse) but whenever the monitor is on. The red/yellow/green lines are always on the blank display. I was not expecting this, nowhere in the product description does it mention this detail. #2: Install instructions are virtually non-existent. You are on your own. I submitted an email and did get one reply (but not to a second follow-up email). No definitive answer was supplied re: the lines staying on. It is obvious through their product "instructions" as well as their email response that English is definitely a second language. #3: Metal plate glued to the rear of the monitor allowing attachment to the magnet on the windsheild holder arm came unstuck three times right after installation until I crazy glued it back on. Should not have had to do so. However, I am still pleased (thus far) with the overall operation of this unit. I did a lot of research before purchasing and despite the few glitches as mentioned, I would choose and also recommend the Calmoor wireless unit. For anyone installing on a 2014 RAM 1500 Tradesman and using the trailer hitch wiring, the black heavier wire is the ground and the lighter white/orange wire is the Reverse lights. I could not find this info online. Hopefully this helps someone else. Thank you. I will update review, if necessary.Update- At times the camera takes a still picture instead of displaying on the monitor as a video in real time. Unless you are aware that the guidelines are stationary, you are given a false image of what is behind you. This has happened quite a number of times along with a signal delay also at times. Wish these issues did not present themselves but overall still a decent purchase.Installed this today on our 2006 Solara convertible. EZ to install. Hooked it up to the black & white reverse light wire in Solara's trunk. Tucked the monitor into the little console cubbyhole just ahead of the shifter. Popped on immediately. Image brightness is adjustable and is acceptable.Terrible instructions...almost nil. You can select the gridlines to be ON or OFF -BUT- .unfortunately, the gridlines are super bright and, if selected, they stay on ALL of the time, even when the camera is not energized with no image. So, I turned them off. The best thing in this kit is the really slick license plate frame and camera. Beefy!The monitor- with its klunky, old-fashioned big external antenna- could certainly be improved. Another offering on Amazon has no such ugly antenna, yet works great. I installed that other one on my 2008 Sequoia and it works and looks excellent. Still, gridline snafu notwithstanding, this is an excellent unit.
