Sound transmission never turns off from monitor to parent unit…the screen video transmission turns off to save power, but sound continues to transmit even when sensitivity is turned all the way down. Sensitivity only affects if the monitor video display turns on. Which means you hear EVERY noise the entire time. I don’t need to hear my toddler snore all night. Additionally, base of parent unit is very narrow and constantly tips over because of it…won’t stand upright if you set it on anything but a hard surface like a counter…Not even on a carpeted floor. Will be returning. Super disappointed.
