It is very frustrating trying to connect this camera to my WI-FI.I get message like: no internet, cannot connect Bluetooth.Camera to far away , 15' ???This trail cam comes in handy. It has night vision to improve the quality of your images at night. The picture is nice and clear. This trail cam is so easy to use that anybody can set it up and start recording your favorite trails. Amazing price and this cam has been a life saver on multiple accountsI bought 2 for our property but I can't get them to work properly from the app. very disappointed because these aren't cheap.Asking you to please not purchase this camera! The camera is good but never coordinates with the app. So what’s the point of having the camera if the app is useless? Thinking of sending the camera back! Update…sent it back! This camera is decent, photo quality is about the same as every trail cam in this price range. Trigger speed & motion detection are good. Nice photos during daylight, somewhat grainy after dark as with almost all trail cameras. Photos don’t seem to be up to par with 4K. It serves its purpose tho so no complaints.I am doing a head-to-head test on five different trail cams. (Zimoce, GardePro® E5S, Folgtek Mini, KitYooWa, and Hufaut). The price of the cameras when acquired range from a low of $28.79 to a high of $99.99. Over time I will post updates rating each of them on their Setup Ease, Durability, Daylight Photo Quality, Infared (nighttime) Photo Quality, Video Quality, and Features. I will rank them blindly each time without any knowledge of their cost.SETUP: The first photo puts the five cameras in order (left to right) from Best Setup Ease to Worst.#1 ZIMOCE WILDKAMERA (wins)Usually when attempting to set up something, I start with the instruction book. This camera had one of the better manuals and had large enough print to easily read. However, the setting buttons were so easy to see and intuitive, that I barely needed to reference the instruction booklet at all. (see photo) It was also super nice that you can "long press" a setting button to move through the numbers when setting things like the time and date.FEATURES:• It came with a 32 GB MicroSD Card• The door for the batteries has a very awkward latch that I expect to break sooner rather than later (see photos)• It requires 8 AA batteries• I'm curious how its dual wide angle lenses, three sensors, and side motion sensors will preform in the field• Not sure if the 3D leaf effect is beneficial or more of a gimmickSo far we have only played around with this in our back yard but we will set it up on some of our favorite camping/hunting areas come spring. The nice thing about this is the camera seems great. It is housed well and looks to be very durable. I liked that it came with great instructions on how to set it up and use the camera. So it was easy to get all 8 AA batteries into it, the SD card (which you should format first) and get it in the casing. We just hooked it up lightly outside our house to play around with it. It captures things will and got a lot of pictures of my dogs playing in the back yard. The downfall is the app isn't as user friendly as others I've used. There are some great instructions on how to get it downloaded and maybe the issue is I have an older phone and it is geared more to the new IOSs instead. But honestly it was easier to take the card out and download the pictures. This could also be because our prior train camera didn't have a way to do it by wifi and so we used to just switch out memory cards. Still the app might need a little time to learn or they should work on the usability of it.But that said the pictures look really good for a trail camera. The resolution is nice and since the dogs are always in the back yard we got a lot of pictures off it.Overall if you just want something that takes good pictures on the trail and you aren't worried about if you use an app to view them I think you will be fine. But if you are set on using the app you may be disappointed if you don't put some effort into how to manipulate it.Have it mounted aiming at a feed pile which is at the edge of my yard near a driveway. It is mounted int he woods less than 50 feet away from that pile and on a trail the deer use to come to feed. When I check images I mainly have me on other side of woods riding wheeler to mailbox or UPS truck coming to drop off packages in daytime.Of the last 500 or so images only 3 were night time and only 1 I could see a deer in the image. The other 2 were of me coming up to camera to see if it was working.I did not try the WIFI feature, if and when I can adjust this so I actually see images of deer or predators in the yard then I may use this to capture images off the device to my phone or tablet.I had another issue with device, sometimes no button will get me into menu, 3rd time going out to look at images, it at least allowed me to view images, but would not allow me into settings so I could make changes to settings, as I wanted to try and tweak this device so it would capture more images at night, it did let me in the 3rd time but could find nothing to make any significant change in outcome of night time capture..I could only find motion detection side on/off no range of settings. Not sure if supposed to be on it or not, but think it runs the same OS as my other trail cams so might have to verify/compare versions or look for update from seller.I did reach out to seller over my issues, asked why no night captures and inability to get into menu, they said an engineer would reach out to me, well it has been well over a week and no reaching out...4 stars is generous, as I hope there is an update or setting I can find to get those deer into frame. If not will return to lower setting as I need a camera that can at least take images of the deer walking past it at night, come on...The physical trail cam is good however the app is terrible. If I had to rate the trail cam. I’d say 4.3. But the app is just garbage. I’d give the app 0.5. So overall 3 stars.
