Let's get it straight. Wide open at f/2, it will flare a lot, there will be vignette, and the edges will be soft.Whatever. It's $85.None of these issues have slowed me down from telling the story I want. In fact, you still get a full-metal build that's about the size of the Nikon Z 16-50 kit lens, and nonetheless incredibly sharp at smaller apertures. I challenged myself over the winter break to only run this lens on my Z50 on a vacation to Atlanta and it performed remarkably well with everything that I threw at it.Honestly, go for it. I know multiple people who run this on their Zfc's, XT-30's, X-Pro 3's etc. etc. as their main lens. If you're not a pixel peeper who needs to submit prints the size of the Berlin Wall to National Geographic or TIME or whatever, you can't go too wrong with this lens.
