UPDATE: In case you’re wondering it’s 8-11 fps only. It has the video settings where you can seem to change the fps to up to 30. However, no matter what setting you choose, it seems to never record at much more than 11fps and as little as 8fps. So for this reason I’ve reduced my rating from 5 stars to 4.I am floored at how good the camera is. It’s extreme easy to setup. You first (before trying to mount it) connect it to your modem via the Ethernet cable. Just take the damn camera right over to your modem and connect it. Then plug in the power and follow the setup in the instructions while you’re using the CamHi app. It’s simple, intuitive, and straight forward. Remember, YOU MUST PLUG THE CAMERA INTO YOUR MODEM FIRST IN ORDER TO SETUP THE WI-FI, DAMN IT!It’s easy peasy pumpkin pie!!!!Once you start seeing video remedy that tapping the screen on your phone brings up different options, one of which allows you to switch from the SD (default) to HD picture quality. The photo I attached here is the back of my house which is being monitored now from this camera that I mounted on my shed which 120 FEET away. Did you get that?…. let me repeat, THE CAMERA IS RECORDING FROM ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FEET AWAY!!!… and the quality is damn good with NO WI-FI ISSUES. Product looks nice, installed one of these cameras to replace an old Wi-Fi camera that was installed 3 years ago. I figured the technology would be better. Camera worked wellnext to the router, wouldn't connect 40 feet from the router. To me they are useless. If you are planning on using cat-5 I'm sure they are fine.This camera is great. It has easy connection to the wifi, wide angle picture. Would recommend it to anyone who want a great wifi cameraNot 5Ghz and screw heads were stopped, could not tighten. Wobbly 2.4Ghz camera. Bleh.I like this camera so much that I own 4 of them. It is possible to maneuver the camera so well zoom in. Night vision looks like its using a floodlight but no light is visible to the naked eye. See photo examples . I haven't used the 2 way talk occasionally I might listen . They are all on the same phone app very convient to look at all the views.NoneI have purchased over 2 dozen of this type of Made in China camera. They all seem to work very well however their weakest link is their WiFi module. After about 6 month or less they all fail. So far this one is doing great and I will post an update if this WiFi fails too. Sadly all of these cameras have No Warranty regardless of what they say in their Ads. That's because they want you to send them back to China at a cost more then the camera is worth. I have requested that they send me the 2 dollar WiFi module but they won't hoping you'll just drop it. So assume they have NO Warranty if you buy any of these. Sadly I have maybe 10 perfectly good cameras with bad WiFi modules that I can't use or get module replacements for.Fortunately this camera is amazing and the color night vision is great. If it lasts another few months I plan to buy several more to install for family, friends and neighbors...Update 9/20/22Sadly the WiFi is starting to fail on this camera too after only 5 Months. It takes longer and longer to connect and now it is start to loose WiFi several times a day.Doesn’t getting set up on Wi-Fi Ethernet cable is too small to reach router. Returning for sure.
