These arrived well packed together. The cameras come with their own mounting hardware and drill point decals so you don't have to do any pencil marking if you don't feel like it, and still get a perfect placement at any degree orientation you want to use.Came with enough CAT5e cables for everything and were all more than long enough for my needs. Didn't need to cut or crimp anything.Cameras function well day and night. I don't use the motion activation or people recognition as most of them are pointed at high traffic areas, it would be getting constantly activated.DVR hard drive requires you to format it first before recording, although the live feed will come through the moment you connect the cameras, so you can adjust their orientation and angles (would recommend marking the top center alignment on every cam so you can make sure you don't get any tilted frames). After formatting, 1.8TB out of the 2TB drive was available for recording space. DONT SKIP that step or you'll be wondering why it's telling you there is 0 recording space available. It took me a few minutes to realize what was going on.HDMI output works great.DVR has no wifi connectivity. Worked fine with PLN connection (I am assuming a wifi adapter would also work but I already had PLN going on so, meh).The number of cameras allowed for redundant coverage at different angles, which is something I wanted.I would recommend it for anyone wanting to cover a home exterior, small/mid retail space, counting office, or other for traffic monitoring in a warehouse or garage (anywhere that has a set schedule for activity and times when people aren't supposed to be in there).Cameras also work well with window-pass-though mounting. in addition to directly attached to walls or fixtures. Wires can fit through holes made with auger bits (no core bit drilling needed unless you're going through metal or pvc). Made all CAT5e connections inside the structure, so did not need to use with weatherproofing covers, so can't speak to their effectiveness. Cameras have foam on inside of feet so a tight mount with no air flowing though it was made easy.Wires don't have color coded connections, so would recommend making them yourself with zipties or tape before setup (as well as marking the cams themselves).
